Values:
Placemaking NZ has identified eight key values.

Authentic Engagement:

We create effective, inclusive networks – the right people in the right place at the right time – and engage with people in a real way, listening and valuing their contributions.
Collaboration: We work with others in an environment based on mutual trust and respect and shared values, giving and asking for support, and sharing our knowledge, skills and success.
Integrity: We are open, honest and reliable in all our dealings, use our resources wisely, and maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times.
Knowledge:

We are constantly learning and gaining new insights, sharing information and knowledge to promote good decision making and great results.
Stewardship:

We accept our role and responsibility as a steward for future generations and champion the creation and preservation of places that matter across New Zealand
Resilience:

We are committed to creating resilient places – places that stand the test of time and meet the needs of our ever changing world.
People-centered design:

Places are great when they work for people. We believe people come first and approach Placemaking from that perspective. Form should support function.

We are committed to creating positive, vibrant, enjoyable places across New Zealand to enhance wellbeing and create sustainable, resilient, Kiwi communities.
